The most recent one is a brand called Equinox Louvered Canopy.

It is made from an all aluminum frame with steel louvers on a track that are attached to a 12 volt electric motor. The entire system is powder coated for a long lasting finish. The motor is hooked up to a solar charger so you don't have to run power to the source of the unit. The motor is controlled by a wireless key fob remote.

I put one over my hot tub because I was tired of dragging an umbrella out every time it was raining.
We love the cover although it stays mostly closed since we haven't had much of a chance to enjoy a clear evening yet.

I guess what I'm getting at is if I normally was in my hot tub and it started raining, I would think, "man I can go to work and feel like this". Now when I'm in my hot tub, I feel like I'm cheating the weather ;-) Just as long as nobody presses the remote and opens up the louvers......

Gore Tex

http://www.drdecks.com/4/post/2010/03/gore-tex.html

http://www.drdecks.com/4/post/2010/03/gore-tex.html#comments

Uncategorized

Holy Rain!It has been relentless. Hmmmmmmm interesting.
Today the device was called a "Little Beaver" Hydraulic Power Auger. Wow man! Is this a cool device. Punching holes in the ground has never been easier or more gratifying. The cool thing about the hydraulic auger is that it has a reverse so as it gets stuck, you can back it out.
10 holes in 20 minutes- half of them hard digging. Something I will keep in my arsenal until I stop doing this.
